Welcome 2015!!

January 2015

It seems like it has been a few years since Tommy and I rang in the New Year anywhere other than on our couch counting down with Ryan Seacrest. I guess that is what happens when you have little kids. This year, we were so happy to actually be going to a party. Thanks to Greg and Esther for inviting us to their place to celebrate! (and thanks to Nana and Papa for ringing in 2015 Chez Mhire in Frisco so we could celebrate!)

The pictures aren't great - mostly taken right before or after midnight and definitely after several glasses of wine and/or champagne, but they all clearly show a fun night spent with great friends, and this blog is all about capturing those moments.

Happy New Year - here's to a great 2015!!! (please disregard the fact that this was written in November 2015 - it really has been a great year - more to come...)
 Me and my guy:
Tom and Jen - sorry a little blurry:
Jen and I managed to take a decent selfie!
This picture of Esther and I would have been really great, except for the photo bomb from Tom in the background:
Finally, a great picture of our hosts with the most. Thanks guys for a great night!!

Final Holiday Celebrations

December 2014

Even after Christmas Day passed, we still had one more holiday celebration to look forward to. Before we headed back to work and school after a great holiday break, we headed over to Nana and Papa's house in Fort Worth to celebrate with Nana, Papa, Uncle Ryan, Aunt Brandi, Lincoln, Charlie, and Lucy. We paused before all the fun began to get a few family pics. With this group, it is nearly impossible to get a photo where everyone is smiling and looking at the camera, so I thought these were really good!
Of course, we opened presents:

Of course, our creative Nana had fun activities and projects planned. Jack and Lincoln made some real, live snowmen (with a little help from Daddy and Uncle Ryan :) ):

Proud of their finished Daddy Snowmen. How fun!!

 Followed by silly string fights!!

We can always count on a fun, creative time when we go to Nana and Papa's house. Such a great end to a great Christmas season!!
