Cross Country Journey - Stop #3 - Opelousas, LA

This look says everything about what Jack thought about a third straight day in the car:

Thankfully, we made it to Poppy and Gigi's house late Monday night.  We were all exhausted and went to bed pretty early, but the next day Poppy was up early and ready to introduce Jack to the farm!  There were horses:

Jack even met the cows later in the day:

We were so excited that Mamom and Papop could make it over for dinner to meet their Great Grandson for the first time!

After Greta's delicious crawfish etouffee for dinner, Poppy and Jack settled in for some playtime:

We're so glad we're only a few hours drive away now, so we can make many more trips to visit Poppy and Gigi on the farm!
