While We Were Away...

September 2014

While we were having fun in Greece and Turkey, the kiddos were having all kinds of fun of their own with their grandparents. For the first half of our trip, Grandma and Grandpa drove up from Boerne and stayed at with the kids at our house. They had all kinds of fun around Frisco. They explored the Frisco SciTech Discovery Center and played with giant bubbles, magnets, blocks and so many other interesting things:

They went swimming in the neighborhood pool (several times) and even ventured into Dallas to tour the historic houses on Swiss Avenue. Since they were staying at our house, Grandma and Grandpa got to go to soccer practice, too:

Halfway through the vacation, Grandma and Grandpa met Nana and Papa halfway in between Frisco and Fort Worth, and the kids headed back to Fort Worth to spend the rest of the vacation with Nana and Papa. Nana and Papa had all kids of fun planned, too. They met cousins Lincoln, Charlie and Lucy in downtown Fort Worth for some fun splashing in the fountains at Sundance Square:

Aunt Brandi with all the cousins:
 Sweet kisses for Papa:
And, of course a goofy picture!
They enjoyed a day of learning at the Museum of Science and History:

Shopping for groceries in the kids museum:
They had fun playing in Nana's backyard with the sand table:
 And the slip and slide
And spent some time hanging out cousin Lincoln's backyard, too!

Papa also took Jack to Home Depot one morning for some fun projects at their kids construction time. Olivia and Jack are so lucky to have so so many grandparents who love them so much and do so many fun things with them. Forever memories, for sure! Thanks SO MUCH Grandma and Grandpa and Nana and Papa!
