After another very long day in the car, we arrived in Jackson, TN. My wonderful Grandma had a delicious dinner waiting for us, meatloaf and some yummy strawberry cake for dessert! Even after a long day in the car, Jack had nothing but smiles for his Great Grandma - those 2 played and talked and had such a fun night together!
In the morning, we had some of Grandma's famous waffles. Ours never turn out very well, so this time Tommy watched Grandma make them and even took a picture of the recipe so we'd have it for future reference. Hopefully our next attempt at waffles will be much improved!
Once again, we didn't get to stay nearly long enough, but we all loved every minute we were able to spend with (Great) Grandma Rose!
