Baby's First 4th of July

As this was Jack's first Fourth of July, Daddy, Nana and I wanted to be sure we captured the day in pictures, including a few with the beautiful red, white and blue bouquet that Nana brought us.  Here are a couple of my favorites:
(Num num flag, num num)
(It's harder than you think to balance and wave this flag)

Early in the afternoon, we were so excited to have Aunt Brandi, Uncle Ryan, and Cousin Lincoln head to Frisco to spend the day with us.  Here, Jack is welcoming Lincoln to his new house:
And a couple of family pictures in front of the house (thank you so much to Nana for taking these - I wish you were in a few photos!):
We all suited up and headed to the neighborhood pool for a little swim.  Both of the cousins are little water babies and really enjoyed floating and paddling around.
After swimming, we headed home for some yummy Rudy's barbeque and naps for a couple of little boys.  There were no fireworks for us this Fourth of July, but maybe next year.  We had a wonderful day!

There will be plenty of time for the fireworks. Jack probably would have either not paid any attention to them or would have been scared at this point. The pool was a much better choice. Looks like fun. Love, Mommie Dearest
